   This nice over slot redfish was caught in southern Pine Island sound near Ft Myers, Florida.
This winter redfish was caught near Fort Myers. Notice how silver the redfish is. During winter the salinity of the water is higher and redfish loose their copper color in saltier water.
Another slot redfish caught near Ft Myers. In Florida keeper slot limit is 18-27 inches.
This winter redfish hit a suspending twitch bait on the flats of Pine Island near Fort Myers.

Tarpon fishing offshore of Ft Myers Beach is usually in 15-20 ft of water. We mostly use live sardines but cut baits works just as good in this area.
